Every Trade. One Contractor.

We self-perform our core trades — wet utilities, roadway, flatwork, and materials — with our own crews. On select scopes such as large-scale bulk grading or landscaping, we bring in and directly manage specialized crews. Gas and electric utilities are installed by the respective utility companies. The result is minimized subcontractor markup and a single point of accountability.

Grading & Earthwork

Bulk and fine grading for residential subdivisions, cut/fill balancing, and import/export coordination. We self-perform earthwork within our equipment capacity.

Wet Utilities

Storm sewer, water and sanitary sewer mains and services. Full underground utility installation with our own crews.

Roadway Construction

Curb & gutter, pave prep, and subgrade construction. We prepare every street for final paving to spec.

Flatwork

Sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, cross pans, square returns, and miscellaneous concrete — performed by our sister company Baseland Flatwork LLC. Precise finish work on every lot.

Parks, trails, fencing, channel improvements, lift stations, force mains, detention ponds, and outlet structures.

Aggregate Recycling

Through Baseland Recycling, we produce our own Class 6 road base and maintain significant stockpiles of structural fill and topsoil — no markup chain.

Wet Utilities

Underground utility installation is self-performed by trained Baseland crews. We install storm sewer, water mains and services, and sanitary sewer mains and services on residential and metropolitan district projects throughout Colorado Springs, El Paso County, and the surrounding region.

Roadway Construction

We prepare every roadway from subgrade through pave prep — and we supply our own Class 6 recycled concrete base through Baseland Recycling. No separate aggregate supplier, no markup. Curb and gutter installation is performed by our own concrete crews to city and county standards.

Flatwork

Concrete flatwork on residential lot developments requires precision and volume capacity. All flatwork is performed by our sister company, Baseland Flatwork LLC, whose dedicated concrete crews handle every flatwork trade — from ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps to cross pans, sidewalks, and square returns — ensuring consistent quality across entire subdivision builds.

Aggregate Recycling

Through our sister company Baseland Recycling LLC, we produce Class 6 recycled concrete base and maintain significant stockpiles of structural fill and screened topsoil at our Sterling Ranch Road facility. Material supply is vertically integrated — lower cost, guaranteed availability, and no third-party supplier markup on your project.

Baseland Construction LLC is a Colorado Springs-based civil construction company focused on residential lot development and metropolitan district infrastructure. We are not a general contractor, and we do not broker work to subcontractors.

We self-perform our core trades — wet utilities, roadway, flatwork, and materials supply — with our own crews. With 20+ years of experience in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, and the surrounding region, we have constructed more than 15,000 residential lots across the region.

Why Self-Performance Matters
We self-perform our key trades with our own crews and equipment — grading, utilities, roadway, flatwork, and materials supply. We minimize subcontractor markup by self-performing our core trades. Where specialized work requires outside crews — such as bulk grading on larger sites or landscaping — we coordinate and manage them directly so there's still a single point of contact for the owner.
Vertical Integration
Through Baseland Recycling LLC, we produce our own Class 6 road base from recycled concrete and asphalt, and maintain significant stockpiles of clean structural fill and screened topsoil. Combined with Baseland Flatwork LLC handling concrete flatwork, material supply and concrete work are both managed within the Baseland family — minimizing outside markup on two of the most cost-sensitive line items on any residential development.
